Players

  • I will learn the rules of the game and follow them
  • I will always be respectful of my teammates, coaching staff, referees and all property
  • I will bring problems to the attention of the coach IN PRIVATE
  • I will not criticise players, either on my team or the opponents team, or the coaches or fans of the opposing teams
  • I will uphold all the rules and regulations regarding the league I am participating in
  • I will not use unsportsperson like conduct
  • I will not deliberately incite unsportsperson like conduct
  • Foul language will not be tolerated
  • I understand that I will be forced to leave the team without refund for the remainder of the season if I start a fight with another player or member of the league

 

Parents

  • All of the above plus
  • I shall not criticise the referee, coaches, manager, or any of the players
  • I shall remember to set a good example of sportsmanship for my child and others to follow
  • I will not partake in any drugs or alcohol while attending any park or and recreation event
  • I shall remember all coaches, managers, officials and auxiliary members are volunteers
  • I shall offer my services for role whenever possible
  • I shall notify the coaching staff of any absences or potential late arrivals asap to allow them to make any changes to the roster
  • I will have my child to all practices and games on time to allow enough time to warm-up properly
  • I will pick up or make arrangements to have my child picked up promptly after games and practices and will notify the coach/manager if someone else is picking up my child
  • I will not criticise players and or coaches, or the opposing team in front of others
  • I will voluntarily remove myself from the field/gym event if directed by an official etc

 

Coaches and Managers

  • All of the above plus
  • I will emphasise that “TEAMWORK” is an important part of the game
  • Together with game officials, be jointly responsible for the conduct and the control of teams, fans and supporters. Any fan who becomes a nuisance , out of control or aggressive may be asked to leave the game, field or facility
  • I will remember the reaction of fans and the players will be instep with my reactions
  • I will remove any player from the game when even slightly in doubt of his/her health, whether or not as a result of injury, until competent medical advice is available
  • I will review the current league rulebook and follow to the best of my ability
  • REMEMBER:- GOOD BEHAVIOUR DOESN’T COST ANYTHING!!!!
  • Also allow the players and other teams to enjoy the game having fun and enjoyment!
